Fresh Fishing is a carp fishing channel and community built around real sessions, practical lake guides and honest tackle reviews. Wayne, Foxy and Team Fresh Fishing share what happens on the bank: the catches, the quiet spells and the lessons worth taking into your next trip.
How Fresh Fishing started
Our story began with a conversation at work.
Foxy and Wayne were working together when Wayne overheard Foxy say he was going fishing on the weekend. After a quick chat about fishing Wayne was invited on a trip with Foxy and his dad. From this point we started going fishing together all the time.
Before we would go fishing we’d always try to find videos of the venue we’d be visiting and usually failed, so we came up with the idea to start filming our sessions and providing insights on the different venues. This is where Fresh Fishing was born.
The YouTube channel started in September 2019. We started out feeder fishing and soon moved to specimen fishing on a mission to become solid specimen anglers.
It has to be said we’re ever so proud of the community we’ve built and we aim to keep building, bringing you great content as well as growing the business through this website and our Patreon.

What we share today
We are focusing on filming, sharing our fishing and growing the YouTube channel while competitions are paused. Our lake guides combine our visit experiences with practical information to help you plan a trip. Our tackle reviews explain how kit performs during our sessions, and our session stories share the decisions and moments behind the videos.
We describe what we have personally tried and separate those experiences from published venue information. Booking details, prices and rules can change, so check the fishery’s current information before travelling.
